Volunteer Network
Engages employees and partners in social action to support vulnerable populations and drive meaningful transformation in the community.
The proposal to organize the Porto Sudeste Volunteer Network in Brazil arose from two movements. The first was driven by the implementation of social programs and projects by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) department. This assessment identified that the community is in a situation of social vulnerability, with children, youth, and adults in need of actions, donations, services, materials, and socio-educational activities. The second came from the employees themselves, who carry out voluntary actions within the company and the community.
Currently, about 65% of Porto Sudeste’s employees live in the surrounding region. Therefore, we believe that volunteering brings people closer, creates bonds of cooperation, and transforms the community, as it develops together with the company. In this way, employees actively become agents of transformation within the environment they are part of.
